Our EP group meets monthly for Happy Hour, every first Thursday – This month we are excited to be joined by AIA Emerging Leaders in Architecture Alumni!
The Happy Hour will follow the 2025 Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Architecture lecture at UVA — Creative Director and Founder of Hood Design Studio, Walter J. Hood, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Architecture!
Hood will give a public talk to mark the occasion on April 11 at 3:30 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall’s auditorium. This event is free and open to all.

Hotel A (circled on the below map) is located alongside McCormick Road, directly across from the University Chapel, and across the street from Alderman Library. If you are facing the Rotunda from University Avenue, Hotel A is located just to the right. Please come to the back of the building to the sunken courtyard where our event will take place.
