UVA Facilities Management professionals work hard to ensure the success of the University of Virginia. They are responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair and maintenance of the University's buildings, grounds, facilities, and utilities. They strive to develop and protect spaces that serve the enlightenment of students, the health of patients, and the productivity of faculty. From the installation of energy efficient systems to the renovation of existing facilities, UVA Facilities Management professionals are dedicated to the success of the University of Virginia.
Join FM Geospatial Engineering Services in an opportunity to mingle with and learn from some individuals at Facilities Management who are involved in the information management, planning, design, operation and maintenance of the University’s built and natural assets. After some networking time, we will talk briefly in a panel discussion format to discover what various departments do for University stewardship, how education and work histories brought some of us to working at FM, and what it means to work at UVA. Questions from the attendees will round out the hour.
